The DATS Graduating Class of Fall 2021 celebrated with their friends and families this past Friday, January 14, 2022, as they received their certificates as Certified Dental Assistants in the state of Texas. The event was held at The Culture of Life Ministries building in Harlingen, Tx.
Sharon Chavez, program director, welcomed the graduates and guests and introduced Elena V. Villarreal, CEO. Mrs. Villarreal Spoke about her late husband and founder, Dr. Juan D. Villarreal and shared their passion for education. She emphasized the constant evolution in dentistry and encouraged graduates to never stop learning and to keep challenging themselves as they might surprise themselves.
Monica Zuniga RDA, program instructor, commended the group and encouraged them to become familiar with the various specialties within dentistry and to move forward with their dental assisting careers. Monica told the students that it was a pleasure to have guided them a step further into their future and assured them that they will always have her as a mentor.
